Where have you been since long ago?
Have you heard the morning rise
And did you catch the first sun flash
As it blushed the virgin earth awake
Have you run beside the flying horse
Ocean whipped to fury
By the sea's cruel winter storm
Have you knelt motionless as in prayer
And watched May's Tortoiseshell
Kiss the wooded primrose
Have you sat upon the rainbow in the silky silvered cloud
And was the thunder's echoed silence
Peaceful ...
Have you rustled the Autumn cloak
Still holding shed upon the trees
Rich with the smell of fruited labour
Have you seen the stardust glow
White trails through the milken heaven
As wish-beams touched your hair
Dark Angel
Where have you been since long ago?
